“It ended up being ironic, because when i wrote it in my notes at hospital I ultimately got much worse, LOL, but it didn’t matter, in that moment when I woke up feeling better, it was enough”.

“Mmmm yeah that’s the thing, those small moments mean a lot when you have been under it”.

Coming out of dream state.

Queering out - drugs, sickness, strange states.

U process so much in sleep - to do with the subconscious.

Exhibiting artists: Adam Christensen, Tom Hardwick-Allan, Tim Spooner, Eloise Fornieles, Fiontán Moran and Isabel Muñoz-Newsome.

EVENTS:

Woke Up Feeling Better | performance

An evening of performances inspired by a night of music hosted by Gentle Stranger and George Lynch at the Horse Hospital, this event sees some of the same artists regrouped and also will be bringing in more perfomance art based work, from Eloise Fornieles and Tim Spooner. Eery and playful. Brutal and kind. Feel lucky to have all these fresh ones in a room together. Let the reception proceed.

30 SEPTEMBER 2023 | 7 – 10PM | £6. CONCESSIONS £4
